2018-2019: Erasmus L3 Valencia

I did the last year of my LLCER Trilingual License (English, Spanish & Italian) in Erasmus in Valencia, Spain. This experience was more than enriching for me and was probably the best year of my life. Valencia being the 3rd Erasmus city in Europe, living there allowed me to perfect the 3 languages I was learning while discovering a new culture.

This L3 was also very rich in class because my days were filled and I constantly had group projects, orals or files to constitute in the different languages studied. So that taught me all the more autonomy, hard work and collective work.

You will find on this page a set of works carried out during the course.

Women's rights -

Video Project

In 'English and American History', I made a short video on the theme of women's rights in the United Kingdom and the United States. You will find my voice on the introduction and the conclusion (which were my two parts) as well as the voices of my two comrades that I had recorded and placed on the video.

Made on Keynote and iMovie.

Spanish Translation

During my Spanish translation classes, I had several times to translate certain texts from magazines. However, not wanting to make a classic word document, I wanted to reproduce the design of the magazines to be translated in order to keep their visual identity. You will find an example here.

The Revolution in Nicaragua

In 'Literatura y Modernidad' we were divided into a group and I had to do a project on the Nicaraguan Revolution  accompanied by Spanish students. The goal was to work on this historical fact based on various artistic works and concluding on the current consequences of this revolution.

At the end of the project, there was a 45-minute oral presentation before a jury. You will find attached the slide show that I had created for the occasion.

Reading Sheet -

History of Spain

All year, I took a History of Spain course from an L3 'Historia de España'. It was therefore a challenge because I was only with Spanish students to which this course was revision. So I redoubled my efforts to get there. Here is an example. This time I had to make a reading sheet on the book of Spanish historiography 'El Sueño de la indomable nation' of 415 pages.

I also had to carry out other similar files in this matter like this one on the Spanish civil war or this one on the republican feminist testimony.
